ricky'sNYCMissRo here! This is my second to last post on Meg’s Makeup. Do you remember when I was writing a couple of my posts from Sao Paulo, Brazil when I was on vacation? Well, I’m moving there in January! Crazy, I know, but have to go where the money and opportunity is. Actually, the hubby opened up offices there earlier this year and after traveling there several times, he figured we should take a year or two and live there. At first I thought he was nuts, but after visiting Sao Paulo, I didn’t want to come back to the US Cool.

Any who! I am writing about Ricky’s NYC, because it is one of the classic boutiques for all things beauty. They carry brands that you just cannot find anywhere. Not your local Rite Aid, Sephora, Nordstroms, etc. When I used to live in NY, I always made my annual trip there for Halloween. They had the best wigs, false eyelashes, and every kind of face glitter under the sun to create your festive look.

Not surprising then that they carry Mixed Chicks. Mixed Chicks is definitely one of those lines that you cannot find just anywhere. They cater to everyone, but they do have a special clientele that just doesn’t shop anywhere for their hair care products.

Other brands that they carry are – Burt’s Bees, Anthony for Men, Ahava, Essie, EO Essential Oil, etc. But, what they are known for are the brands that you can only find there like – Accept The Fact That You Are Aging Breath Spray, Braza Reusable Petal Top, and Bite Me gum, just to name a few.

So, if you live in the NY area and you have never checked out Ricky’s, you must go. Or even if you are going to New York for vacation, then you must stop in to Ricky’s and check it out.

Have you ever been to Ricky’s? If so, what is the one product you always buy there?
