GETTING TO KNOW SUKI!!!

GETTING TO KNOW SUKI!!!

One of the best parts about Meg’s Make-Up is that we get to experience some under the radar brands. Brands that once we’ve tried, we can’t believe we ever lived without them. When we thought about getting to know these brilliant minds, we set up a tough criteria. They had to have a stellar product. Something all of the testers went insane for.

Suki sent us some of her Lemongrass Exfoliating Cleanser. WOW! It was amazing! Knock your socks on fantastic! We all were buzzing about it. Who is this genius that only uses natural products? How did she come up with this line? She changed our shower experience! Which can change your life! A great shower can make even the toughest morning better. We needed to delve into the mind of Suki! Here’s what we found out about this miracle worker…

My name and hometown:

Suki Kramer
Chicago, IL

My goal is to bring each user of my products this…

To create a 100% clean, sophisticate and sensual skin care line that really worked. That took the best of science, creating proactive, potent formulas but stopping short of hurting living things.

My start in life was to do this…
I wanted to be a dancer but at 18 quit because I was very insecure and the world of dance was difficult for me…the perfectionism, the constant physical dissatisfaction, etc. and the path wound to freelance writing and my true love, research.
but the path I took towards cosmetics was driven by this…

My skin problems, the desire for something that the market didn’t offer, my desire to grow my own company in a manner I thought possible: ethical namely, and my love of research in addition to my love of products brought me here. I now take dance classes for fun…and I should also mention that it’s really the partnership I have with my husband, friend and business partner that saw this company to fruition. Without his undying support and unconditional love all this time, this company would never have been.

I want all women to know this about themselves…

That they are truly beautiful in their uniqueness. That aging means becoming – becoming truly means getting better, more well rounded, more whole, more ourselves. Would we really mean to trade our inner development for character free faces? I want people in general to think more about their actions, about what they are told. To never ‘buy’ into something without doing their homework. I want people to know they must look out for themselves in everything they do, health, well-being, how they see themselves, and to fight programming and mainstream messages.

My goal is to bring each user of my products this…

A wonderful, sensual experience, healthy, clear, radiant skin, an awakening to what goes on in the industry and how to arm themselves with information for their own health and well-being, a true feeling of being beautiful in their own skin.

I believe in all of my products but if I could urge each women to try
this one (pick your favorite) I would…

One? I can’t live without: lemongrass cleanser, transformative facial clay, velvet hand and body crème, lip repair butter and velvet facial crème.

Style influences vary, I would say my style is most like this…

Clean, linear, independent.

I started my line because I couldn’t find this…but I deliver it with each product…

100% clean, pure bases with cutting edge scientific ingredients that perform specific functions as well as organic botanicals.

When I see a women make this mistake I cringe…

Believing anything written in a magazine about health or skin care-it’s advertising based and changing all the time. They read this and then jump on the band wagon.

My products care about the way you look like no one else’s because of
this…

My attention to formulation integrity, my commitment to product sourcing and manufacturing process, the fact that this is my life, I formulate what I want or am really looking for in a product, which I always hoped meant others would be looking for that something too.

Lastly, if I were at a bar I’d order this…

Sparkling mineral water

True or False, I’m going to tell you when there’s spinach between your teeth…

True!

Suki
