Name: Sharon Philogene
Vocation: Mother first, then a Medium and a Healer 🙂
What’s in your purse? I don’t have too much. My bag got full of water recently because my son didn’t put the lid on a liter bottle of water! So a lot of my makeup got destroyed
Here’s what was saved: Everyday Minerals pressed powder compact, Everyday Minerals Retractable Flat Top brush, Urban Decay Pocket Rocket in Eric from Meg, Everyday Minerals Lip balm, Lip Balm I make myself and Max Factor Black kohl.
Guilty Pleasure: Coming on the megsmakeup.com forum & EDMs forum is a guilty pleasure for me as I really should be doing other things! Plus, shopping online of course!
Skin color, type and any special concerns: Well, I have olive skin it’s really sensitive. Because of my skin being so sensitive I have broken capillaries on my cheeks, chin and around my nose which I hate.
Beauty inspiration: I would have to say people/celebrities that grow old gracefully without resorting to cosmetic surgery & Botox. I plan on growing old gracefully. Our faces are a map of where we have been and what we have been through so I will learn to love it.
Top 3 skincare products:
Allergenics Moisturizer – I use this day and night. If you have eczema, this moisturizer is fantastic.
Dr Organics Aloe Vera Gel – Aloe is a godsend. I use it for so many things.
Paris Hilton Heiress Body Lotion – I totally love the smell of this and it’s a light pink color. How girly is that!
Top 3 tools of the trade:
Everyday Minerals Flat Top Kabuki – This brush is the softest brush I have ever found and it stays that way even after washing. I use this to apply my foundation. It gives a great finish and fabulous coverage.
Ruby and Millie slanted tweezers – These are the best tweezers I have come across so far! I have had them for 2 years now and they are still going great.
Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance Straighteners – I use them every day and couldn’t live without them. Well I could but I’d have very bad hair!
Beauty secret/tip – If you where mineral foundation, spraying it with a fixing spray will make it last all day long and give it a beautiful finish. I make my own fixing spray here’s my recipe:
50ml of Green Tea made with a teabag, 5ml of vegetable Glycerine and half a teaspoon of Vitamin C (the Vit C will act as a preservative). Mix together and when cool put it in a spray bottle!
Current beauty products you’d like to buy:
Urban Decay Book of shadows vol 2 – I love Urban Decay!
Urban Decay Sustainable Plus Primer – Can you see a pattern emerging here? 🙂
A product/appliance you could buy to get rid of Broken Capillaries. I wish.
Love Sharon x
Wow Sharon! Making your own lip balm AND your own fixing spray? While being a medium, a healer AND a mother?
Thank you for the recipe, it’s great knowing you.
Are any of you girls out there such multitaskers?
