Happy New Year everyone! For me, 2007 was the year of Paris! I (Kate2004Rock, pictured right) spent January – May studying in the best (most chic, most fabulous, most everything) city in the world! In fact, I’m there as you all are reading this actually – spending my New Year’s in the City of Lights (sort of one of those random late night conversations with a girlfriend (strawberryfields, pictured left) and some random and LUCKY searching on when I should have been studying for my finals!) I’ve learned so much about myself and the world in general this year. Especially things like: how to wear black and brown at the same time and not look like an escaped mental patient; how to look super glamorous with a less-is-more makeup look like French women do. And that they call it French kissing for a reason – French boys are just so good at it! But seriously, I learn from and love all of the ladies here at Meg’s. My day is never complete until I’ve read every one of your posts for every single product we review! I love you all! Here are my favorites of the year. Don’t for a second think that they’re in any particular order. Does a mother favor any one of her children any more than another? Happy New Year to all of you and your families!

Thyme Kimono Rose Body Cream – This is the first thing I posted on when I got home from Paris in May. Go back and read my post because it’s pretty funny because I was so sleep deprived when I wrote it! But anyhow it smells divine and makes your skin feel like velvet!

Urban Decay 24/7 Liners – A more recent review, you know, like last week. But they’ve been my favorite since, like, forever! They stay put, they come in fabulous but wearable colors. They’re my “Without them I’d have to start drinking at noon” item!

Halo Shampoo & Conditioner – The review of this product was actually a godsend for me. It came when I was in a severe hair crisis meltdown when my hair was beyond dry and it made me want to cry. Nearing the end of the bottles that I bought immediately after these were reviewed, I will never go back. Isn’t a halo shinier and more expensive looking than horns and a pitchfork? No?

Urban Decay Primer Potion – I’m bending the rules on this one. We haven’t officially reviewed this product but I mean – we talk about it all the time. And if you’re living without it then you are really, really missing out. It’s the answer to every eye-shadow wearer’s prayer. Seriously – best $15 you’ll ever spend.

Caudalie in General – Tricked ya! You thought it wasn’t going to be on my list! I live and die by Caudalie and my skin (face AND body) looks all the more fabulous for it! Please refer to all associated Caudalie reviews (mine and Desertdoll’s) for written proof!

E.L.F. Shadows – This one is my favorite DD of the year! Eyeshadow’s for $1.00? Add a little Urban Decay Primer Potion and they’re awesome! I mean they really are $1.00 and it seems like is having a ½ off sale just about every week so they’re right for every budget!

Appellation Grapeseed Clay Mask – I love masks. I love feeling tight skin and watching my pores shrink in 10 minutes. I love the medicinal tingle of this one and how fabulous my skin looks afterwards!

Phytocitrus Mask – This has been one of my staples for a long time. Leave it in for 30 minutes once a week and your hair feels like you got a professional blow out in your very own bathroom!

Laura Gellar Bronze & Brighten – Genius! Bronze for some color, but look bright without being dirty! Who would have thought?

Vincent Longo – This was an extravaganza review with everyone getting different products. I’ve never disliked any Vincent Longo product I’ve tried. They Wet Diamond Eyeshadows and Glosses are so fabulous and pretty. I love the Golden Glow Bronzer and my absolute most favorite product is the Dew Finish foundations. They make your skin glow like J-Lo.

Happy Last Saturday of 07!! Let me Know if any of these products also made your must-have lists!
