Every Wednesday Krista brings you the best hair out there!
So all that talk about Cake last week got me thinking about other delectable, delicious delights… Ice cream, pie, chocolate croissants, eclairs… and reminded me of this scrumptious product made by Goldwell. (Thank you, Jayne Morehouse!) It’s a new product called Profiler Mousse Wax, and the first time I used it, I thought, “yum, it looks like frosting!” (Or if you’re Meg, squeeze cheese!)
If you’ve read my posts, you know I’m a big fan of Fudge Wet Wax. (see? another sweet treat!) I’m an even bigger fan of the not-so-well known hair line, Goldwell, who makes one of my favorite, but sadly discontinued lines, Dry & Porous Shampoo and Conditioner (has there ever been a product that had my name written all over it like this one? I bought it by the case-full before they changed the formula!)
But what’s more fun than a hair product that makes you feel like you’re decorating a cake? Just be careful – the first time I used it, I had enough in my hands to frost a multi-layer wedding cake. If you’re brave, use enough for a mini cupcake. But better to start with a rosette.
It’s from their Styling Wild line and “guarantees a flexible, lasting hold and natural, brilliant shine with no build-up”. I can attest to that – there’s nothing that bugs me out more than stiff, sticky products. But it’s great to piece your hair out, put in a little flip there, or a little hold there.
And a little decadent at the same time. Just don’t eat it!
I know that some of you have Goldwell in your shower! What’s the best they have to offer?
