Meg here! Welcome back to work, work might seem like a vaca if you’ve been hitting the malls and fighting the crowds. I’m really going to try to do most of my shopping online but I know there’s no way I’m not going to get suckered to The Beverly Center for something or other.
What do I need this year for Christmas? Nothing. Seriously, I really don’t need a thing. My roomie asked me what I wanted and I told her “slippers” That is really something I want. Yes, I am 32, not 82 but I want to keep my tootsies warm.
I suspect there are a lot of you out there that read this and also really don’t need a thing. I don’t need one more knick-knack or candle. In this economy I don’t want to be an added stress on anyone! I would really like those slippers I asked Lydia for. For all my other peeps, I’d just like them to donate to a tax-deductible charity.
In this vein, I wanted to do a spotlight and review on Nicole Paxson’s Tropic Queen Bronzer. Nicole suffers from Lupus, her cosmetic line gives a bunch of money to Lupus Cure Research. With Lupus, as well as so many other skin disorders, sun is a huge no-no. Burns are bad for everyone but if you know of someone who’s health will be jeopardized if they are in it~then refer this line! All of Nicole’s products have SPF so the sun shy can come out from under their floppy hats!
Tropic Queen bronzer is layered in strips of many different bronzed hues. This way you can shadow and highlight and control exactly how much color you want to have. It’s a subtle palette and great for giving a glow without the fear of Oompa Loompa. This is for your fairer, burn prone gals! Just because it’s not hot out, don’t think you can skip the SPF! Sometimes the rays are even stronger in the winter!
Ladies who received Tropic Queen Bronzer please let me know what you think! What charity’s made your holiday list?
