SUKI! EXFOLIATE FOAMING BODY CLEANSER!

SUKI! EXFOLIATE FOAMING BODY CLEANSER!

sukiscrubGod gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today.  Have you used one to say “thank you?”  ~William A. Ward

I’ve been thinking a lot about this quote lately.  Not necessarily from a religious standpoint (or even lack thereof) but from a purely grateful one.  Sweetassgal received one gloriously gorgeous package from Meg last week and all I can say is grateful isn’t strong enough.  I’m whole heartedly overwhelmed, gleefully beholden and doubly delighted to thank her for her kindness and generosity in gifting me such wonder items to review.  I simply cannot wait to try each and share them with you as we negotiate this financially difficult yet opportunistic holiday season.

I say opportunistic because it has occurred to me in holiday seasons past that each year we have an opportunity to have a more fulfilling and consequently happier holiday.  Each year we have the chance to put our hope in the number of people around our table and not the number of presents under our tree, the fortuitous happenstance to appreciate the little treasures in our life and to thank those who bring them to us.  As I get older and my closets grow smaller I realize that the gratuitous way we spend money during the holidays leads to a whole bunch of unwanted gifts followed by wasted time in lengthy return lines.  I say Bah-humbug to that!

Sweetassgal’s solution…instead of 20 gifts that don’t amount to a hill of beans simply draw one name in your family, circle of friends or co-workers and get/give one GREAT gift that you can truly be thankful for.  Something that you’ll actually use, something that you love, something that you wouldn’t normally go out and buy yourself.  Something from Suki!!!!!

Yes citizens of Meg’s…the much reviewed and much ballyhooed line of Suki organic products is JUST the item to give and receive this holiday season to ensure thank you’s and appreciation actually abound!  Looking for a no fail product for even the pickiest of giftee’s?  Suki’s Exfoliate Foaming Body Cleanser is just the ticket for anyone on your gift list who has a nose…who likes a pleasing scent…who has skin…that needs cleaning.

The Exfoliate Foaming Body Cleanser is a concentrated version of Suki’s rejuvenating scrub that polishes your skin and helps increase your surface skin cell circulation.  This is especially helpful for those with dry, eczema, dermatitis or acne prone skin as the organic lemongrass and sugar help smooth the skin and acai oils nourish deep.  Not only do I find the lemongrass scent exhilarating and the sugar consistency yummy enough to eat but its overall effects on my roughest patches are not to be missed!  I’m an inattentive elbow and heels caretaker which I hate to admit but it’s true.  I spend days properly caring for these forgotten regions until they are back in snuggling form then one day the thought falls right out of my head and once again I’m alligator city baby.

This very generously sized 7 ounce container should last you quite a while as it takes very little to get you quickly buffed.  Unlike lesser quality scrubs that melt right away and give you no actual cleaning properties, Suki foams up and holds the scrub long enough to give yourself a good rub down.  However they aren’t so coarse that they feel like they are tearing your delicate skin as can happen with harsh “apricot” type scrubs.  Almost as soon as you rinse you find your skin soft and supple and ready to moisturize.  Suki recommends their Velvet Moisturizing Cream and though I haven’t tried it yet I am quite confident it’s as lovely as the cleanser.

Made in America with pure, simple ingredients…Suki Exfoliate Foaming Body Cleanser is a great gift this holiday season and I recommend it wholeheartedly.  I have more Suki items to review but they are items that need a few weeks of research to give an honest opinion on.  For now I’d recommend this to anyone who needs a gift for the hard to buy or like me, just can’t figure out what you want for Christmas.  I find all the Suki I need at my local Whole Foods so pick some up along with your organic greens and goat cheese and when the white elephant gift comes around at the office, you’ll have the one gift to pass around that EVERYONE will be thankful for!

GLAM ON! Who else has tried and loves Suki? This line is one of Meg’s personal favorites!
