BabyLove here! I love this next product because it worked wonders on my son. So, any of you people who suffer from skin conditions, please LISTEN UP! Skin Free Skincare is available at local drugstores throughout the country, and I’m really shocked that in my quest for eczema control, I never noticed it.
The thing about Skin Free, is that it is pretty easily overlooked. The packaging is super simple, with no frills, “look at me” gimmicks, or empty promises. The fantastic thing about this line, is that it doesn’t need any of that, because it works, and it works well.
Reviewers received a package of four skincare products from their line. I’m going to post about my favorite product, the Extra Moisturizing Soap. This bar soap contains no fragrance, petroleum products, colorant, or harmful chemicals. How moisturizing is this soap for dry, irritated skin? Well, the back of the box says, “May also be used as a perfect conditioning shampoo with no greasy look after.” Oh, okay. I guess after I clean my pits, I’ll wash my hair. This soap is full of vegetable oils and butters, and it does the trick.
I love the fact that this soap lathers up. Not only did I wash William’s body, and his hair (per back of box), but I also washed his face. I usually don’t dare to wash his face with anything except water. Skin Free exceeded my expectations since I’m usually drawn to body washes that are combo wash and shampoo. I never thought that I’d find that convenience in a bar of soap.
So how well did it work? The moisturizing factor of this soap was astounding. There was no need for a follow up of hydrocortizone after William’s bath. We did, however, follow it up with Skin Free’s After Shower Moisturizing Spritz. A little trick for the eczema, use the moisturizer, and if age appropriate, wrap the affected areas with plastic wrap! It works amazing!
Two thumbs up for Skin Free!
