Love is in the airbrush-Napoleon Perdis
Meg here! When your skin looks blotchy red and just all around crappy you’re having a bad day. I would challenge that a “bad skin day” hurts women’s self-esteem much more then a “bad hair day.” I mean, we can always grab a hat. People start to look at you strangely if you attempt a ski mask in June. Especially if you’re near a bank.I am a big fan of spray on foundation in the summer. It’s light and doesn’t cause the pores to clog, once the pores are clogged then you get trapped into using more foundation and the evil cycle continues.
Napoleon Perdis has a new Boudoir Spray Foundation on the market. This turns to a powder consistency and is the perfect foil to heavy foundation. If you’re in the market for a new one I suggest giving this one a whirl.
I haven’t found a spray foundation that I don’t like. I sometimes spray them directly on my face if I am fresh from the shower and have my hair back in a turban. If you’re afraid to spray your face, the sponge wedges work just as well. I feel like the spray foundations tend to last a lot longer then their liquid counterparts. I tend to waste more when I pour. This is not a problem with vodka ironically.
Check out Napoleon’s new spray-it’s great. What about you? Have you tried spray cosmetics? What is your go-to foundation?
