The Make-Up Godheads that are Marissa and Lani from The Balm sent Megs Makeup out a bunch of different TheBalm products to test. We are going to start by reviewing The Balm Stainiac Hint of Tint!.
One of the very best things about having megsmakeup (except for uh, the free makeup) is that we meet the coolest, hippest most awesome women on the planet through it!
When I contacted the CEO and Founder of TheBalm, the brilliant Marissa Shipman I was in awe. She has gumption that one! She couldn’t find what she wanted so she went to Amazon, bought 11 books on how to create cosmetics and just decided to do it herself! My favorite type o’ lady! Not only that but she’s young, runs a fabulous company and is a doggie lovah. I know, I’m green too!
Not only was I lucky that Marissa acknowledged a mere mortal like myself but Marissa and her marketing/PR whiz Lani were going to be in LA. They asked me- did I want to meet them at the ultra-swank Ivy at The Shore for lunch when they were here? Is the sky blue?
Ivy Gimlets galore! I was in heaven with those two as my fine dining companions! Witty, smart, gorgeous and NICE AS CAN BE! I was fabulous just by association that day!
One more note on how kind Marissa is and then I’ll stop gushing, when my dad had a stroke she read about it on Megsmakeup and sent me beautiful well wishes email I mean, it’s not like she’s busy running a company or anything.
Let’s get back to TheBalm’s Stainiac Hint of Tint, I know a lot of you swear by this baby and I just wanted to let you know you can be happy knowing your purchase benefits such great gals! Here’s what they say “The perfect pop of color for your cheeks and lips, Stainiac hint of tint is perfect for all skin tones. Simply dab a touch onto your cheeks for a sheer wash of color or layer for added intensity. And the best part? Stainiac is formulated to give you more time before the stain sets, so it won’t streak.
Ladies, please post if TheBalm made you feel like one!
