Every Saturday Kate2004rock brings you the best of Sephora as only an insider can!

I am constantly in awe of those women who don’t wear makeup. Or wear very little. They look amazing. Me? I look scary. I would love to think that I’m a low maintenance girl. But I’m not. I mean, not physically. I have two different kinds of shampoos. About 7 different moisturizers. 5 different exfoliators, 9 different mascaras. I’m just not low-maintenance like that. I guess I’m only low maintenance in that drinking beer and watching football actually sounds like a great date to me. Any single straight guys out there reading this column? I’m so high maintenance, I don’t go anywhere without wearing makeup. Seriously. But I’ve come to perfect that “no makeup” makeup look – and I think I actually fool some people! I don’t do it to go out on Friday night or anything. Just going to class and running errands – Try this out and see if you can’t fool anyone!

Complexion: Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer. It has SPF 15 so you get the protection and you get that “Fresh-faced” glow. Sometimes I’ll dust on a little bit of Laura Mercier’s Loose powder foundation if I’m feeling particularly oily. I also usally swipe on some Tarte Parke Ave. Princess Bronzer for a little extra color. As always, TimeBalm Concealer ( I seem to be having a breakout issue…arg).

Eyes: I do my brows with my Bourjois Drole de Sourcil brow mascara. It’s amazing how instantly refined your face looks just by filling in your brows. It’s a must. And I think that tinted mascara wand is SO easy compared ot fiddling with brush and wax or powder. I usually just do some Benefit Love Your Look Cream Shadow in some neutral color like R.S.V.P. Barely there. Swipe a little bit of liner into the lash line like a Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil in Bourbon or Bourjois Metallic Waterproof pencil (the brown one). Just to wake up your eyes. A quick coat of Fresh Supernova Mascara or something does the trick.

Cheeks & Lips: The Balm Stainiac or a Tarte Cheekstain like Blushing Bride or something. A simple gloss or tinted balm like the Tarte 24.7 Sheers or something. You don’t need much.

It also doesn’t hurt to finish with a little Laura Mercier loose transluscent powder to keep the shine at bay!

That’s the kate2004rock 5-minute face!
