The repair and restore reps from Hylexin sent Megsmakeup out some of their “serious help for serious circles”, yes they sent us out some of their famous HYLEXIN.
I know I usually write a quirky little intro to each project but I’m skipping it for this one. NOOO I’m not being lazy. It’s because Hylexin has all of this interesting info on their site on what causes dark circles. I was under the (false) impression it was from lack of sleep or too much party time. WRONG!
Here’s the deal..
According to most research dermatologists, serious dark circles (the kind that make you look old, tired and exhausted) are about, of all things, the oxidation of hemoglobin (blood) in the capillary matrix of the peri-orbital eye area. What a mouthful!
These capillaries actually “leak” blood that begins to oxidize (through a process called hemoglobin degradation)… creating a dark bluish-red pigmentation that looks distinctly like an ugly bruise.
What does all that mean in plain English? Tiny little capillaries deposit blood around your sensitive eye area. The blood turns deep purple and you end up looking like you just went 12 hard rounds in a boxing ring.
Here’s what Hylexin claims…”it’s the first formula specifically developed to dramatically reduce the appearance of serious dark circles”
Ladies, Hylexin is for SERIOUS circles. We tried to send it out to the women that have told us this is a real problem for them. Hylexin needs to be used daily for 60 days so we had to wait a bit before we posted this one. Please let us know if you saw a real diminish under your eyes!
