womenonscaleBaby Love here!  I want to thank you all for your kind words of encouragement that you have offered me on my journey to shrink my arse.  Your personal struggles with weight loss and body image prove that these issues are universal and extremely sensitive.  Keep on working to make yourselves feel great, no matter what it takes, or costs!

For four days before my first weigh in, I couldn’t sleep.  My stomach was a ball of nerves, and the thought of stepping on the evil scale in my bathroom made me sick.  I’ve been so used to seeing the numbers on the scale rise, even despite my efforts, that I couldn’t bear the thought of the disappointment I have become so used to feeling.  12 days after the start of my diet, my husband told me to bite the bullet and cut the s***.  So I got on the scale, looked down, and burst into tears.  Move over Kate Moss because I’ve lost 8 POUNDS!  I couldn’t tell my husband the good news because I couldn’t stop crying. I was so relieved, and for the first time in 3 years, I feel like I have a chance of feeling like me again.  The Fresh Diet is changing my life, and I love it.
I know I’m spoiled with my daily delivery of food, but I don’t care and I won’t apologize for it.  This food is amazing, and it’s REAL, FRESH, food.  The other morning I literally had the best omelet of my life.  It had goat cheese, and sun dried tomatoes in it, and you know what?  I could totally make this for myself on any given morning.  I’m snacking on delicious, creative foods that I never, ever would have thought of.  Yesterday I had a slice of sweet potato with spinach and cheese melted on top.  YUM!  It?s an incredible feeling knowing that I’m losing weight, and eating food that tastes great.  The Fresh Diet needs to start a cookbook, because their chefs are stellar!

I’m learning just how x-large my lunch and dinners were.  I was overeating at my meals because I was starving myself throughout the day.  I’m not hungry anymore since I’m eating more, and my smaller portioned meals are just as satisfying.  These are life lessons that The Fresh Diet is teaching me, and I am so incredibly grateful.  My daily caloric intake is between 1200 and 1400 calories a day, but I feel like I’m eating every meal at a 5 star restaurant.  The other major thing I should mention is that since I started this diet, my exercise has been incredibly limited.  My whole house has been sick, and the gym or even a quick run has been almost non-existent.  I’m so excited for next week when my normal routine can start up again.  If I have lost 8 POUNDS with just changing my eating habits, then I can’t wait to see what will happen when I start adding some physical activity.

I’m looking forward to going shopping next week.  Any good fashion advice would help since the majority of my time has been spent in elastic waist sweatpants!

It is worth the investment in yourself! If you’re having trouble losing weight I can not stress enough how much this works!!
