BabyLove here! For the next few weeks I’ll be switching my reviews up between kid’s products, and all the fantastic goodies that were included in our mom’s goody bags from our fantastic site party. Stay with me Meg Heads, because I have some great stuff in the lineup.
I’m sure you’ve heard of this next company, and if you haven’t, it’s time to become acquainted with Little Twig. Little Twig was not only kind enough to send us their Tangerine Scented bubble bath, but also the cutest little bumble bee bath mitt that has been the cause of a lot of commotion at bath time. Turns out that two boys+ one bath mitt=problem. Last night after the thousandth argument over who gets to use the mitt, I actually heard William utter the word “idiot” under his breath.
Me: “I’m sorry, what did you just say?”
William: “I said Calum is an idiant.”
Me: “Where did you hear that word?”
Me: “Well maybe we shouldn’t repeat that word again.”
William: “Well maybe we should give Calum away.”
I’m very happy that this review is posting tomorrow. I can go ahead and order two new mitts so we don’t have to give poor Cali away.
I love a lot of things about this bubble bath. I love the fact that a cap full fills up a whole tub with bubbles sturdy enough to withstand Santa Claus beard after Santa Claus beard. The tangerine scent is such a different, unique scent that each time I smell it, it’s like I’m smelling it for the first time. I’ve gotten so used to lavender or strong herbal citrus smells that this is so refreshing. The other thing that I think I really appreciate about this bath is that it doesn’t leave behind a slimy residue. We all know that you have to rinse after a bubble bath, and that’s fine. However, I don’t want to have to wash my kids off like they were sitting in an oil slick. One quick rinse will do after this bath, and it leaves their skin so soft . When they aren’t fighting about the bath mitt, they’re taking such pride in being able to wash themselves all by their lonesome. Little Twig’s bubble bath is dermatologist tested, ph balanced for sensitive skin, and free of sulfates, synthetic fragrances and artificial color. It also is approved by me, since I’ve been doubling it as a body wash (SHHH). It’s a great lather with a loofah!
What we love just as much as great products on this site, are great companies that give back. Every month Little Twig picks a charity to donate to. On Wednesday’s throughout the month, 15% of each purchase goes directly to the spotlighted charity. This month’s beneficiary is Heal the Bay of Southern California.
This company caters just to the little one, but has great products that mom will definitely approve of. I’ve yet to try it, but have also heard fantastic things about their sunscreen. Warmer weather is just around the corner. It might be my Wednesday purchase!
Little Twig is a large lifesaver! Have any of you tried it? What do you think? What are your favorite baby beauty items?
