Katie here! I am going to hold out on my comprehensive review of the awesome holiday products at Sephora until, well, at least Thanksgiving. If you’re relatively new to Megsmakeup, you can reference last year’s holiday post about why I am a firm believer in abstaning from December holiday-esque activities until after Turkey Day. Give the pilgrim’s their props. Your kids only went trick-or-treating last night and we have to elect a new president on Tuesday! (Though, personally, I am READY for that one to be over).

But there is just one piece of Beauty Nirvana that just cannot wait. The Sephora Brand Scent Sampler was introduced three or four years ago as a way to buy someone a fragrance without actually having to know them. There are ten samples of the year’s top selling fragrances in little deluxe-size pump samples. You can wear each one around for a week or two and then take the little certificate included in the box into a Sephora store and redeem it for a full size 1 or 1.7 oz (depending on the fragrance) of that scent! All for $50, which is about the average price of a 1oz. bottle of juice. Oh yeah, there’s one for men and one for women. This year’s selection of scents in the best-seller category women’s box: Aquolina Pink Sugar, Bulgari Omnia Crystalline, Calvin Klein Euphoria, Givenchy Very Irresistible Givenchy Sensual, Gwen Stefani L.A.M.B., Lavanila Vanilla Grapefruit, Marc Jacobs Daisy, Philosophy Amazing Grace, Stella McCartney Stella, and Vera Wang Princess. In the men’s box, there is: Bulgari Aqua Pour Homme Marine, Canali Canali, Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy Men, Diesel Fuel For Life Men, Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Pour Homme, Hugo Boss Boss Pure, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, Lacoste Essential, Prada Infusion D’Homme, and Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme. There’s also a trendsetter box for women which includes trendier smelling juices like Pucci Vivara, Dior Addict Shine and Jean Paul Gaulthier’s Ma Dame (new!)…plus a few more.

So you’re thinking that’s cool…you could have told me about that later in November. But you’re wrong. These things never last. They disappear from the earth about ten days of thanksgiving. Bought up like the gas that’s now $2.15/gallon down the street from my house! So if you think you just might be interested in this I am urging you to get ordering/shopping now!

P.S. You can order the boxes online but the certificates inside for the full-size product can only be redeemed in-store and Canada is excluded from the offer.

Ladies, any scents you think they’re missing?
